Starting at an altitude of 940m from the “Roberto Bellotti” picnic area (Prati di Logarghena – Municipality of Filattiera) where the bulletin board with all the trails is present, take a 2.5 km climb that will take you to the highest point of the route (Ref. Enrico Mattei) at 1150 m.
In this ascent, entering the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park, the view will be able to capture amazing sceneries of both the Apuan Alps and the Alta Via of the Ligurian mountains.
Leaving the lodge behind you, take the CAI 128 path (towards Portile) until you reach the first crossroads (km 3.5), here the dedicated signs will direct you to the S.Antonio Oratory.
During this 3 km descent you take the ancient via Longobarda, a historical path of fundamental commercial importance between the Po Valley and Lunigiana.
Having reached the Majesty of S.Antonio (km 6 – 740m) and following the dedicated signs you will come across the last ascent. From here a dirt road, on the CAI 128 path, takes you back to the starting point in the Prati di Logarghena at 940m in altitude.t.
